We Have Moved from Surry Hills
You might remember us as the MediADVICE Pharmacy on Crown Street in Surry Hills. We have been in that location since 2003, so we've been serving the local community for over 22 years.
However, because of the commercial redevelopment of the site we were forced to move and are now located at 788 - 822 Bourke Street in Waterloo.
With this move, our Pharmacy has more than doubled in size.
Free on-street parking, nearby free underground parking at IGA and Coles on Dank Street, plus a bus stop at our door, make us easy to visit.
Taras Bourke Street Pharmacy is a family-owned community pharmacy established by Tara Ly.
The business began in 2003 and was originally located on Crown Street in Surry Hills. In July 2025 we relocated to 788 Bourke Street in Waterloo.
We are members of MediADVICE - a group of 77 independently owned pharmacies in New South Wales and Victoria, united by a commitment to client-centered care and collaboration in marketing, training, and purchasing strategies.
Our pharmacies are easily identifiable by a vibrant blue and orange color scheme.

We're a successful pharmacy despite the aggressive competition we face from the pharmacy chains that surround us.
The reason for this is the effort we make to know and understand our clients. This often means consulting with Doctors and Medical Specialists to ensure the best possible outcomes.
